The terms and conditions of trade stated below apply to all sales and by placing an order the customer is deemed to have accepted these conditions.

Masons Music imposes a minimum order value of £100 (before postage and VAT)

Postage and packing

UK mainland (excluding Northern Ireland, Scottish Isles, Isle of Man and Channel Islands) £6.50 per order. Northern Ireland and Scottish Isles £12.00 per order. Isle of Man and Channel Islands are charged at cost; please call for pricing details if unsure.

All international parcels are charged at cost and priced to include insurance (we can, however, use your shipping agent if you require it). Please note: If your order comprises of mainly clearance items postage will be charged at cost for the whole order.

Payment

British Isles customers - Payment can be made by cheque, BACS or credit/debit card; please see below for details. To open a credit account please ask for an accounts application form. If you wish to send a cheque with the order but do not want us to hold credit for you (which happens when items ordered are out of stock) do not fill in the cheque value but write near the bottom of the cheque "Amount not to exceed £" and the value you anticipate the order to be, we will then complete your cheque for the exact invoice total and you will only be charged for goods you have been sent. If you must send cash please only use registered post as we cannot accept responsibility for lost cash. Overseas customers: bank transfer only.

VAT

As required by law all UK orders will be subject to V.A.T. at 20%. EC customers must send us their VAT number, or equivalent, otherwise we will have to charge VAT at 20%.

Overseas restrictions

From time to time restrictions are placed on merchandise from certain artists or ranges prohibiting the export of them to certain countries. These restrictions are imposed by the licensing bodies owning rights to the artist or range and are usually due to a manufacturer in the country concerned having exclusive rights in that country, please check with our export department when ordering in case any restrictions apply.

General

Our opening hours are 8:30am - 5:00pm Monday to Thursday and 8:30am - 2:00pm on Friday.

When ordering by post please use our order form because this makes it easier for us to process your order - don't forget to put your name/company name and address on the front page. An up-to-date copy of the order form will be sent with each order. If you order over the telephone please place your order by product type (eg. Hooded Sweats, T-shirts, Patches, etc.), and alphabetical by artist, because this makes it easier and faster for our staff to process your order. If ordering by fax make your order clear, it would be better if it were typed. Please make clear definitions between the ranges from which you are ordering and clearly state artist, title, quantity and size (if applicable), in that order. Orders can also be placed by email; please send them to sales@masonsmusic.co.uk.

If you require our sales team to telephone you on a regular basis for your orders please let us know and it will be booked for whichever time you require. When placing an order please ask about any new releases or special offers.

By placing an order a customer agrees to indemnify Masons Music against any claim which may be made in respect of goods supplied. Any shortages in goods supplied must be notified in writing within seven days of the invoice date otherwise claims are invalid. Goods are despatched from stock usually within 3-4 working days, however Masons Music does not accept penalties for late deliveries. Faulty goods will not be accepted without a valid, authorised returns form, please contact us for a form. All faulty goods must be returned within two months of supply for replacement, credit will be offered should we be unable to supply a replacement. The cost of returning the faulty items to us shall be at the customers expense. All goods are sold on a firm sale. Title to goods supplied does not transfer to the customer until the goods have been paid for in full. In accordance with contracts between various licensors and our suppliers we are obliged to make you, our customer, aware that:

1. any merchandise supplied to yourselves must only be offered for resale in the condition in which it has been purchased. Any modification or affixing to any article is prohibited and will contravene Licensing, Trademarks and Copyright Law.
2. retail sale of any licensed product is prohibited within 500 yards of any venue at which the subject of the licensed product is performing.

The consequence of such activities being discovered will render the offending party liable to prosecution. No claims for consequential loss or compensation for loss of goods or profits due to seizure of goods through contravention of these conditions will be entertained.
